Thanksgiving 2009

My family and I have recently been to Sparta, North Carolina to spend time with some of my mom's side of the family for thanksgiving. We went to many places like stone park and we rode around in the mountains on thier quads. And my cousin, my brother and I spent a lot of time playing video games like Guitar Hero III and Mario Kart for the nintendo DS. But at stone park there are wild deer all over the place. We must have seen at least 40 all together. So overall it was a very enjoyable christmas and I can't wait for my cousins to come up to my house for christmas!

Thanksgiving

We are going to be in North Carolina during thanksgiving this year and I will have so much fun with my counsin, aunt, and uncle. I havn't seen them in such a long time!!! And one more announcement. I got windows 7!!! I am so excited. Sorry I havn't posted in a while. I have been very busy. I will try and post more often. Bye.

Peyton is Ours!!!

After 2 intense weeks, we got the call that paws was going to career change her and we got to keep her! We are so excited and norm is happy to have a baby sister. Peyton actually seems to really like Norm. She was pretty stressed in training so she lost some weight but now she is happy and is gaining weight once again! She is as happy as can be!

Our old paws puppy is not doing well in her training so they are giving her two weeks to shape up or we get to keep her. We are crossing our fingers hoping that we get to keep her

Oshkosh Air Show 2009

My family and I have recently taken a trip to Oshkosh WI. For the largest air show in the country! We had a blast watching all the airplanes and camping. They had f-16's and an a-380 and virgin gallactic's white knight 2 witch we all thought was going to snap in two! And I stood 15 feet away from Richard Branson! It was the closest I have ever been to a billionaire! And one of the happiest planes was Duggy, the smile in the sky!

We Have a Winner!

Mr. Blue is our winner! Storming norman is Mr. Blue. We are so excited for the new member of the family to be at our house on June 23rd. His actual name is Norm but he loves to parade around the house in his spare time when he isn't being smothered by visitors. But we are very anxious for the new pup in the house!!!

The New Member of the Family

We are going to get a new member of the family soon! We are getting a new puppy from paws with a cause named Norm! We decided to call it Norm becouse of the old T.V. show named cheers were he walks in and everyone yells NORM!!! I will soon get a picture of him to post on here. Sorry that I havn't posted in a while. I have been really busy! Here are the three possibilities for the puppy we might get.

Spring Break

Sorry I havn't put up any new posts for a while. I just was really busy. I just went on spring break and it was great. I went to Memphis TN., St. Louis MO., New Orleans., Biloxi MS., and Illinois. So I went to a lot of places that I have never been to. It was a whole lot of fun. In Memphis we stopped on the way down to Biloxi to re-paint a church built for African Americans in the time of seggrigation. So, back to Memphis. I went to Corkey's BBQ. They had the 2nd best wet ribs in the world! The first is my Grandpa Sam's! As we kept driving, we stopped in St. Louis to go tho the top of the arch. It was amazing up there! And we went to this small italian area and went to a great resteraunt called Zia's. It was the best baked pasta I have ever had! Then we went down to Biloxi for about a week to work on the church. Whether or not it was to rebuild a home or re-paint a church or even painting a murial inside an african american school. We took a half day on Wendnesday to be able to go to the neighboring cities and stuff like that. So during that we went to New Orleans. We did Bourbon St. and Cafe Du Monde to get Beneits. Then we headed back home and stopped in Memphis again to stay the night. So we went down jazz central and went to Rendevous ribs and they were the best dry ribs I have ever had! Then we were just too tired to come straight back to Holland so thats why we camped out in Illinois. So the next day we had our traditional easter day lunch at Taco Bell. And we made it home. And that pretty much wraps up my spring break!

GO STEELERS!

I am right now looking at the steelers whoop the cardinals! I am so pumped! I so want the steelers to win. I don't know why. I just am kind of attatched to them some how. I think that since they have such a big lead and the longest play in superbowl history, that the steelers will have to take it all with their second superbowl in 3 years.

Back to School

I just ended winter break 2 weeks ago and I am already tired of school! That may seem like I just have a grudge against school, but thats how everyone feels! I just can't wait till I go to Florida for my uncle's wedding. I will be off school for 3 days! Downside is we have to give our dog Peyton up 3 day prior. We will miss her so much!

GATORS WIN!

I new they would do it. The gators just couldn't lose to a team like oklahoma! The only part that scared me was when the one guy on florida got nailed and had a leg injury. I thought it was really serious because he was thrashing so much. But, even with the injuries, florida still managed to win. I am so proud of them!

Longhorns vs. Buckeyes

I am so rooting for the Longhorns during the tostidos fiesta bowl! I hope the score is an obvious longhorn victory. I am a Michigan fan, so I will root against the ohio state buckeyes any game. I think almost any michigan fan would say the same. GO LONGHORNS! And for the record, I am going for Florida in the national championchip!

Bye Bye Part 2 :(

My grandparents are leaving today Jan. 4. I wish they could have stayed a little longer. They seemed like they had a lot of fun. I made them my ginger snaps and I swear, each batch of 2 dozen was gone within the first 2 days they were made! And I had to start school again. The only thing I was happy about was seeing my friends again. But this was one of the best winter breaks ever!

Squirt Gets attacked by a rabid dog

Oh no! Squirt is being attacked by a rabid dog! I need to help him but the dog just keept on showing his teeth and holding squirt 10ft in the air! Somebody had to help him so I thought I would give it a shot. So I approched the rabid dog and he snapped at me. I try again and he snapped at me again. I decide to try a sleeping shot. So as soon as I injected it, the dog fell asleep and I retrived squirt. It wasn't pretty but it all worked out in the end.

My cousin Amanda had to leave today to go home in North Carolina. I am completely exhausted. I haven't had so many people in my family's house in forever. It was a lot of fun. We all had a blast. And we can't wait to see you guys again in march for the wedding. I will miss you guys, but will always have the thought in my mind that I will see you again very soon. And Amanda, you have the cutest puppy in the world. I hope you like the pictures I took of her!

Gone Snowboarding

I had a blast snowboarding at my Dad's Parents House. I hit a jump for the second time in my life. I had once before when the jump was bigger. The snow melted and it was just coming back. I had my cousin Amanda with me as well as my brother Logan. Amanda's Blog is www.smoreythesockmonkey.blogspot.com. And Logan's is www.loganrocks1997.blogspot.com. They are both looking for some visits, so it would be really nice of my viewers to check out their blogs. Anyway, The trip was even more fun because I gave my cousin Amanda a chance to ride a snowboard for one of the first times in her life. She was a natural. I couldn't belive she could do something on the second try that took me 2 years to learn. And Logan was the one who could really make to sled go on and on forever. The place we went to is on a lake, and Logan almost fell in he went so far. All I can do is occasionally hit a jump. Anyway, the trip was a lot of fun and I am looking forward to doing it again!

Paris!

About 2 months ago I took a luxurious trip to Paris, France. I got so excited on the plane I almost wet myself! I was so anxious. When we finally got there after a 9 hour flight I had to contain myself from screaming. My dad helped me with my new camera. He is a professional photographer. Yes this is a very nice canon lens. And I just puchased one. I think it gets good results as well as as it is very light weight. If you are looking for a cheep low light lens, try this one out first. It will not disapoint you.

Christmas Gifts All Around

Christmas!

I am so excited! It's almost christmas and I can't wait! Part of my mom's side of the family is coming up to my house and I couldn't be more happy! I am counting the days. Only 2 more days till the first family (my mom's parents) come!
I am so hoping that I can buy myself an ipod touch but I don't have the money. I guess thats just life. I will have to start saving. The other family that is coming up is my mom's brother's family. They want to spend christmas in their new house. But they will come up after christmas! I can't wait to see you all!

Thanksgiving Break

I had the greatest time ever last week in a little town in North Carolina called Sparta. We went to see my mom's oldest brother and his family. We went around his property on atv's, shot the bb gun and at the end, I got to fire a rifle called the AR-15 also known as the M4. It was SWEET! We had so much fun and can't wait for their family and my mom's parents when they come up here for christmas!
